Remembered

It felt good, the car windows were down and the sound was turned up high. Ted Nugent’s guitar chords and shrills exiting his studio Marshall amps brought me back to my late teens. Well, that was before he went gonzo and started writing the same over and over again after the Double Live Gonzo! Album.

Fifteen years later, my ten-year-old son and I would hear a clip from Cat Scratch Fever as we watched a AAA baseball player walked to the plate and dug his cleats in the batter’s box.

WHY

she becomes fidgety

The middle of the night is not always the best time to walk through your house. And I can hear the peanut gallery and my detractors complaining about my lack of originality with the start of these prosaic thoughts.

Ha! Remember those slippers you left in the middle of the living room? I found them as I tripped over the cat. It was not a controlled fall. In fact, my arse is still sore. But I did make it back to my bed; rolled towards the wall and over the damned cat. Well, that’s two lives less for him.
